POSING TIPS FOR MODELS

Working with long hair during a model shoot or during general posing

Move hair behind the one shoulder to get a flattering image

Ensure that your chin is forward to make your neck look longer

Arms must be moved away from the torso, up or to to side

Arms should be lifted to create shapes, triangle shapes look very flattering

The nose should not break the line of the face

Shoulders should be turned at an angle to create depth in the pose and image

Waist should be turned and there should be no visual extenders to the waist

Interesting poses are ones that are full of different shapes
